  Do you have what it takes to be successful in this role?

  University diploma or degree or equivalent in gender studies, disability studies, social sciences, international development, or a related field. A combination of relevant education and experience may be accepted.

  Minimum 2 years of professional experience in gender equality, disability inclusion, or social inclusion, preferably within an international development context.

  Strong understanding of gender equality, disability rights, and social inclusion principles, frameworks, and international commitments.

  Familiarity with the systems and its policies, programs, and operations of an international development context.

  Experience in mainstreaming GEDSI considerations into project design, implementation, and evaluation.

  Knowledge of participatory approaches and tools for engaging marginalized groups.

  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions.

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  Proven ability to deliver training, facilitate workshops, and conduct capacity-building activities.

  Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and accountability.

  Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required. Knowledge of local languages spoken in Bougainville is a plus.
