Summary: The Unemployment Insurance (UI) Navigator plays a crucial role in assisting potential claimants from underserved communities in filing their unemployment claims and gaining a better understanding of the unemployment process. UI Navigators provide personalized guidance and support to ensure that individuals facing barriers to accessing unemployment benefits receive the assistance they need. The UI Navigator works closely with the Employment Security Department to identify and address existing barriers that hinder disadvantaged communities from accessing the benefits they are entitled to. By doing so, they help to ensure that UI benefits are available and accessible to all qualified Washington workers, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human services, Social Work, Education, or related field; and/or equivalent combination of education/significant experience in community, human, social services, or related field.```{=html}
```- Bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish: verbal and written form, PREFERRED.

```- Employment is contingent upon successfully completing and passing a Pre-employment Drug Screen and a Washington State Patrol Background Check and/or National Background Check, Reference Checks, and if applicable other required documents.- Personal vehicle required to attend meetings, trainings, and outreach events in other locations.
Wage: $22.12 -- $28.85/Hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.
