DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Underwriting Liaison will provide technical Underwriting and administrative support for assigned complex International Risk Management Accounts while adhering to published service standards.
Lines of coverage: Workers Compensation, General Liability, Auto Liability.
Program Structures: Captives, Deductible Structures, Retros and Risk Transfer
This role operates on a hybrid work schedule out of our Philadelphia, PA office. The schedule is Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday in office and Thursday/Friday remote.
Major Duties & Responsibilities: * Assist in Pre renewal strategy discussion on all assigned renewals. Review renewal & new business submissions for completeness. Reach out to broker for missing information in tandem with Underwriter. * Send renewal letters to brokers for upcoming accounts, request policy numbers. * Identify proper forms and endorsements used in go forward renewal policy construction in tandem with Underwriter. * Submit Richmond Request (for exposure data entry into Price Model). * Complete data rec template and provide Actuary with losses, exposure and program structure to obtain loss analysis. * Complete the collateral model and provide to Credit Management. Obtain Financial Rating, UCE and RMIS quotes. * Complete proposal including adding in any additional program options. Complete Binder. * Maintain best business practices and adhere to Corporate, Foreign Casualty and Global Services standards. * Follow file protocol guidelines: Set up and maintain Work View Underwriting files and working account files in SharePoint including all Underwriter Referral/Approval support. * Prepare all supporting documents for the 120 day pre-renewal meetings. Document all takeaways from meeting. * Prepare all supporting documents for the STRC submission and provide to Underwriter for review prior to submitting. * Obtain required premium and exportability quotes and save all related correspondence in Work View and maintain local quote spreadsheet. * Ensure timely Account Servicing and Implementation. Conduct Binding Meeting within 5 days of program inception. Expedite approval of premium allocations if not agreed prior to inception. Update pricing model with final allocations. * Communicate with the network on general and account specific issues. • * Act as a facilitator between Global Services and Underwriting regarding various country coverage issues that may arise. * Follow up for missing information and process and submit policy issuance instructions on behalf of Underwriter for both Domestic and incidental Foreign Casualty. Interface with processing center to ensure all questions addressed to ensure proper quality work product. Review policies upon receipt for accuracy, submit corrections and ensure policy delivery to brokers. * Submit endorsement requests to processing center. * Maintain service standards for all above transactions; by timely response to broker requests and timely receipt of underwriting information. * Communicate with all levels of employees to include, but not limited to, producers and internal personnel to confirm or obtain data needed for policy issuance and servicing. * Properly document all files within established due dates. Ability to effectively manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks. * Provide technical underwriting & Training Support for underwriting teams. Handle special projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent * 3 years of insurance experience, preferably in a National Accounts setting; * Strong data entry and computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and various internal programs.
