Overview
Support the Healthcare Medical Office Building (MOB) underwriting team with analyzing and underwriting new real estate transactions with a focus on the MOB asset class. Responsible for underwriting and closing new MOB construction loan opportunities. Prepare property level analysis, pre-screens, and final credit approvals for new financing opportunities. Be involved in every stage of the transaction including the following: market research, due diligence, presenting to credit, structuring, and legal documentation. Assist with special projects, audits, and other ad hoc duties. Interact with Originators, Credit Management, Senior Underwriters, Portfolio Management, Operations, Closing Teams, and peers.

Qualifications
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Real Estate Developer, Investment Associate, or a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as a Real Estate Developer, Investment Associate, or a related occupation.
Position requires experience with Commercial Real Estate finance with focus on credit underwriting. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Requires experience with Cash Flow Modeling and Analysis. Requires proficiency with Argus Software. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.
