  Why Intern with the AAA The Auto Club Group (ACG)The ACG Internship Program aims to provide a rich, relevant, and rewarding experience for college students. The goal of the program is to provide interns the opportunity to connect, network, and grow as they work on department-specific projects and is designed to enhance the skills and abilities of young professionals as well as to identify and attract future talent for our organization.

  In this position with the AAA-ACG Underwriting team you will:

  Drive business results by working on critical projects, conversion tasks, process improvement opportunities, and underwriting analysis

  Broaden your knowledge and create meaningful connections by cross-collaborating across other departments within AAA-ACG and presenting your project to key leaders within the company

  A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN UNDERWRITING ANALYST INTERNACG is seeking a motivated student to join our team as an Underwriting Analyst Intern who will work with a small team and a mentor to:

  Transform third-party data into insights used for pricing accuracy and determining customer eligibility

  Assist with the development and implementation of new procedures and processes

  Create communication strategy for policy changes and project work

  Develop strong project management skills and work directly with an assigned mentor

  WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHORequired Qualifications:Must have:

  Must be studying Business, Communications, Economics, Insurance, Psychology, or related field

  Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, organization skills, and strong situational adaptability

  Experience with Microsoft Office

  Must be:

  At least a junior or senior, fully enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited college/university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA

  Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  Compensation and Time CommitmentThe Auto Club Group will provide compensation of $18.50/hour for 40 hours/week. The interns will be expected to report during the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm ET (some flexibility on start/stop time) Monday through Friday for the duration of the Summer Semester.

  Work EnvironmentThis position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations after the initial training is completed. After training there would be an expectation to be in the office one day a week or as required by the business need.
