　　Carry out risk-based due diligence of new clients and business partners during the on-boarding process in accordance with external and internal policies relating to anti-money-laundering regulations and the financing of terrorism actsHandle PeP/sanctions queries and verification of resultsPerform risk calculations and monitor the current Risk profile of newly applying merchantsRecommend reserves on new merchant applicationsTake appropriate action to prevent merchant lossesApprove merchant payment processing options in line with credit policyActs as a contact person for merchant facing teams (Group's Sales, New Business, Account management teams) as well as working closely with the internal Operations Department, who are responsible for merchants on-boarding, and the international Risk and Compliance TeamsAdvise on Paysafe business initiatives where necessary to advise on Payment Scheme Rules and ensure business adherence to Payment Scheme rule and regulationsCarry out standardized control measures as well as assisting with the preparation of regular reportsParticipate in internal projects concerning product development and new marketsPro-actively assist in the development of existing systems and guidelines

　　To be successful you need to have:

　　Fluent English; Spanish language would be considered as an advantage Bachelors' Degree or equivalent from an accredited college with emphasis in business and/or finance2 or more years Acquiring / Bankcard underwriting required or a combination of relevant experience in general Underwriting plus Acquiring / Bankcard underwritingKnowledge of high-risk verticals such as crypto, iGaming, FX and investments would be preferable.Strong experience and understanding of credit reports, MATCH, exposure methodology, and KYCAbility to analyze complex financial statements, tax returns and bank statementsThorough and able to handle responsibility, stress, and authority appropriatelyDetail oriented with excellent organizational skillsMulti-task in fast-paced work environment
