We are seeking an operations analyst to provide technical contributions and leadership to support the United States' Naval undersea superiority. You'll be joining a hardworking team of analysts and operators who apply the latest technology to combine relevant physics, tactics and data to inform and support the Navy's Sea Control Mission. Analyze and evaluate the performance of naval platforms, sensors, and concepts.Become familiar with the systems and develop methods and metrics for evaluating the operational use thereof.Compile data and information from various sources and translate into operationally relevant insights.Work with acoustic and non-acoustic engineers, data analysts, and operations experts in a team environment to develop employment concepts for undersea platforms and sensors.Document results in formal reports and annotated briefs for delivery to DoD sponsors.Interact with DoD and or Navy personnel to facilitate task execution and work prioritization.Brief sponsor or DoD command staff on the results of the work.Qualifications

Have a BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or other related technical field with two or more years of relevant experience.Are generally curious, technically and analytically oriented, and exhibit strong analytical, operational, problem solving, and organizational skills.Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Can support some travel to Naval bases or aboard Naval vessels.Are able to obtain an interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Have a MS degree in Engineering, Physics or Systems Engineering/Management.Have experience working with or for the Navy.Have prior experience with maritime surveillance systems, submarine operations or exposure to Navy Theater-level OPINTEL programs.
