The CoACH research study is an institution-wide database of information and biospecimen samples from patients with HPV+ cancers. The student will perform a variety of routine clerical, administrative, and/or technical functions for the CoACH/HPV+ Moonshot Project, primarily for the Department of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The primary learning objective is to gain experience in the basics of clinical research. The student will learn how to maintain research databases, enter patient data, coordinate visits, among other tasks as assigned.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Students must be interested in pursuing a career in medicine, biostatistics, public health, or another related field. Students should have excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Students should be able to work independently and autonomously. Students with basic proficiency in data collection/statistical software are preferred.
