Role overview:
As a Field Product Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the business management of one of Eaton's product offering at the sales zone/country level and for its commercial success. This includes product offering's sales strategy, products' life cycle management and proper promotion.
The Field Product Marketing Manager is a part of the UK&I field marketing organization, and is to collaborate closely with other marketing team members and sales teams to define the target markets for the supported products, participate in creation of local business and go-to-market strategies for the chosen target markets, as well as creation of respective marketing strategies and execution of respective marketing plans to support the agreed long-term business strategies and achievement of profit plan goals on the annual basis.
The Field Product Marketing Manager is a go-to person and the expert in there respective products in the supported local sales organization and the main internal and external communicator about the products, who is fully able to translate technical features into commercial messaging. This position is also a part of a wider Product Marketing community of Eaton Electrical EMEA.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technical studies or/and marketing
Skills:
Understanding business basics including revenue projections, business metrics and financial planning, as well as pricing Marketing skills: knowledge and experience in demand generation, digital marketing, project management etcExperience in working with cross functional teams in a dynamic environmentExperience of working within a matrix organization, a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm to be working in this type of structureAble to translate technical features into commercial messagingExperience in working in a comparable marketing / product management roleRelevant industry/sector experience is preferred A team player, eager to cooperate and develop marketing further in cooperation with the colleagues from the same sales zone and other sales zonesStrong presentation skills are mandatory: the ability to be persuasive in front of own sales people, customers, partners, industry influencers, competitors, policymakers. Show interest and eager to experiment new marketing tactics and approaches, making it possible to reach customers and partners and generate strong demand for Eaton productsFlexible on working arrangements - willingness to travel at a zone level frequently & EMEA infrequently
