Job Description Summary
The TVC Production Leader is responsible for overall success of the Turbine Vane Carrier (TVC) Cell. This role reports to the Plant Leader. As Production Leader, you will drive achievement of meeting safety, quality, delivery/productivity, and cost targets. You will also lead project execution working closely with internal and external stakeholders ensuring the success of the area.
This role will have high degree of autonomy and will be responsible for setting up the TVC production area and ensuring the investment in the area is fully used to meet productivity and capacity targets.

Manage a team of hourly techniciansImplement strategies to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery/Productivity, and CostDrive and implement growth strategies for cellDirect process/product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organizationEnsure communication of key business/customer issues to leadership, staff and employeesSelect, hire, train, develop and provide ongoing leadership and direction of assigned personnelEnsure hourly team is being provided the training and resources to advance their skillsInterface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on timeInterface with internal and external customers to ensure their requirements are metResponsible for EHS, Quality Framework leadershipLead and drive lean execution and process excellenceDrive wing-to-wing lead time reduction to increase TVC capacityManage scope of work, schedule, budget, and resources to achieve on-time delivery and target gross margin
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline OR a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years relevant experienceA minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing, lean or operations environments, OR in an equivalent management role in similar industrySkilled with MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication
Desired Qualifications:
Technical experience in Gas Turbine / Steam Turbine / Generator Services.Knowledge of Lean and/or alternative continuous improvement methods.Knowledge of heavy-duty gas turbine buckets, Combustion, Nozzle, Rotor repair methods and processes.Strong knowledge of gas turbine repair processes & equipment.Good interpersonal & communication skills, and leadership capability.Ability to work across organizational lines.Willing to accept challenging assignments, passion to drive change.Able to motivate and lead others through continuous improvement actions.Fluent written and spoken EnglishStrong team playerInclusive leadership, communication & coaching skillsAble to anticipate, identify and resolve complex business issues, working with multiple stakeholders.Experience in managing complex technical projectsAbility to influence and lead project teamProven experience in presenting to leadershipDemonstrated commitment to improving safety, quality, delivery and cost
Pay Transparency
The base pay range for this position is $100,400.00 - 133,900.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity]. This posting is expected to close on December 31, 2023, or thereafter.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
