Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Turret Machine Operator II - 1st Shift.
6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday
The hourly rate for this position is $20.44 per hour.

What you'll do:
• Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/ presses
• Operate and write programs that will run on CNC turret's
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
• QC and document all parts run on machines
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
• Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
• No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using 2D design programs like AutoCAD
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience reading drawings or blueprints
• Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
Position Criteria:
• Able to operate machinery and presses safely
• Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
• Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
• Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
• Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
• Ability to physically move and shake sheets of steel
• Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
• Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
Working Conditions:
• Exposure to cold/ heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open
• Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
