Broker – Reinsurance

What the day will look like
Day to day broker responsibilities for nominated reinsurance accounts in the Pacific Region.
Development and maintenance of Client Plans, Identification of Client Opportunities, Understanding of Client Objectives and Business Needs (financial, commercial, capital, strategic etc)
Working closely with all levels of Aon team members to ensure appropriate delivery of Aon United capabilities to clients in the Pacific Region
Develop and maintain relationships with local and international reinsurance markets
Work together with Account Executives and client teams to manage relationships and deliver excellence across broking, analytics and client services
Actively participate in internal discussions to contribute to the generation of new clients and expanded services on existing clients
Utilise your market knowledge and/or subject matter expertise to engage across internal teams to deliver on client strategic objectives
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Superior client and interpersonal relationship skills
Strong numerical skills including balance sheet analysis, client research capabilities and the ability to identify possible reinsurance solutions for discussion with clients
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills (including report writing, tender preparation)
Ability to work under pressure and with autonomy
Excellent time management
Experience with the placement process of reinsurance business
Strong ability with full suite of Microsoft Office applications
Working across disciplines in a reinsurance and broking environment
Reinsurance market and technical knowledge would be desirable
