We help YOU make it! As a Transportation Coordinator, you will support transportation and logistics functions by performing general clerical activities. Also, you will be able to work with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 6 am - 2:30 pm

Main Ingredients of the Job!
Transportation :
Answering incoming calls to address driver, sales representative, and customer issues.
Utilizing software (MS Excel, Omnitracs, Tandem, Kronos, etc.) to create, update, and communicate various reports for efficient transportation functioning.
Assisting in the damages and shorts process by notifying vendors and drivers and completing associated paperwork.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Payroll:
Collecting timekeeping information from various departments.
Incorporating a variety of deductions into a periodic payroll.
Issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.
Collaborating with the payroll department to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.
Work Environment
The work will primarily occur at a desk in an office environment but may occasionally require work in warehouse environments, including cooler and freezer areas.What you bring to the table
Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical positions preffered
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with payroll processing platforms.
Excellent telephone and customer service abilities.
Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook programs.
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Education:
High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.Preferred Qualifications:
Prior logistics, transportation, and/or warehouse experience.
Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations.
Knowledge of our geographic delivery area.
Experience with Omnitracs, Tandem, Kronos, XATA, Manhattan, PowerDock, Airclic preferred.
