Ecore International is looking for a Transportation Lead for our manufacturing and recycling facility in Ozark, AL! You will m onitor inbound raw material and makes sure vendors have empties for drop and hooks. You will also performing trailer swaps plus load and unload trailers when needed. Transportation Leads keep the yard organized, ensure docks cleaned inside and out, managing inventory, and receiving and transferring material.

What you'll be doing:
Consults with Transportation Supervisor to clarify department priorities, identify problems and suggest changes for improvementComplete yard inventory and help develop schedules for shipping department's 1st, 2nd and 3rd shiftsOperate yard jockey tractors, and skid loaders to lift/transport raw materials while adhering to all power industrial equipment rules and safety requirementsDetermine trailers that need off-loaded for next day inbound materialCommunicate with Transportation personnel as well as other department personnel with any concerns, questions or issuesMonitor system processing for proper receiving and invoicingProperly train all new and existing employees on departmental proceduresEnsure employees follow proper safety procedures in the completion of tasks including fork lift, skid loader and jockey drivingAssist in completing On-the-Job Training (OJT) for all Transportation employeesAssist in Yard and bag load inventoryInterface with production on floor to ensure material is brought up when neededEnsure Safety and report any incidentsWhat you bring to the table:
