Primary Responsibilities
Prepare plans for roadway and highway improvements, site development, and utility relocations using local (state, county, or city) or AASHTO standardsPreparing calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects of various sizes and complexityWork collaboratively on projects from the conceptual phase through construction procurementWork with many different types of clients, each with its own standards, from the public to the private sector*LI-IK1
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field EIT or ability to obtain within six months; those hired without their EIT will have the title ' transportation coordinator' Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software packagesSolid written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter and dedicated to a quality-based client delivery mindset.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culturePreferred
Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, and/or Geopark MicroStation Prior engineering and/or transportation experiencePreference is given to local candidatesWhy HDR
