As a Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Consultant for the Department of Transportation, you will be a critical member of project workstreams to support client management, meeting development and implementation, and the generation of project deliverables. This includes delivering client-facing communications and supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders.

As a Consultant, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and national security experience, helping our clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution, as well as build upon your own leadership skills.
What You Will Do:
Apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills to address complex organizational challenges via strategic communications and stakeholder engagement
Collaborate with federal clients to develop strategic communication plans that align with organizational goals, target audiences, and messaging objectives
Support the development of detail-oriented communications materials such as correspondence and briefers
Distill complex concepts and information into clear, compelling, and concise messages that resonate with various audiences
Assist in the development of metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of communications initiatives and activities
Assist in preparation of and leading internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefings
Support multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products
Build and sustain meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues
Contribute to positive team culture and collaborative working environment
Develop an understanding of firm capabilities, solutions, and methodologies
Support internal and business development initiatives, such as communities of practice and proposals
What You Will Need:
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
1-3 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business or a related field
Possess a critical thinking mindset to identify and solve problems independently and with fellow team members
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
Strong ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and provide creative solutions
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master's degree
Direct experience or familiarity with Federal transportation clients
