Labcorp is hiring a Senior IT Application Support Specialist. This person will be the subject matter expert on the Descartes application. The qualified candidate must have experience with Descartes or Roadnet transportation applications. This person will also need to have previous experience with implementations and integrations as it is more of a technical position than functional. A solid technical background as well as business knowledge will be key to success in this position. This is a direct hire position that allows for remote work from home.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide functional and technical support of Descartes Route Planner, Transportation Manager, and Report Analytics
Provide technical support and resolve incidents
Act as application SME and work directly with business to provide application support, offer technical advice and guidance, and collaborate with vendors to deliver future enhancements
Work directly with Descartes support and integration teams to resolve technical issues
Act as 1st responder for severity 1 issues by gathering support teams, resolving critical incidents, performing root cause analysis, and providing ongoing communication
Participate in requirements gathering and analysis
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement Descartes and integration enhancements. Adherence to IT change and release management process
Organize and manage several tasks and projects with concurrent time sensitive deadlines
Prioritizes assigned work to keep daily responsibilities and projects moving forward in a timely manner
Provide implementation and support of other commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field
2+ years of experience with supporting transportation applications, specifically Descartes or Roadnet
Experience supporting logistics and transportation
Demonstrated experience in the implementation, integration and maintenance of COTS
Strong background in problem solving, troubleshooting and attention to detail
Healthcare experience is a plus
Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues in an efficient manner
Exceptional organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field and five plus years of professional experienceApplication window will close 02/24/2024
Pay Range: $57,658 – 149,700
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Work Location: Remote work is available
