  Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Transitions Manager-Supply Chain - Aerospace.

  The expected annual salary range for this role is $116437.5 - $170775.0 a year.

  What you'll do:

  PRIMARY FUNCTION

  The Supply Chain Transitions Manager is responsible for managing the successful planning and execution of major systems programs and projects by driving efficient practices across the plant based Integrated Product Teams. Minimize project transition times through mobilization to delivery, meeting all regulatory and project requirements.

  This role can be supported remotely for qualified candidate currently residing in the USA.

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  Lead the program management activities of strategic, high complexity supplier transitions that enable Eaton's sourcing strategy to be executed. Responsible for both schedule adherence and successful transfer of technical knowledge on complex industrial transfers involving multiple part, often across multiple supplier locations.Provides the functional support and process guidance to Eaton Site SCM teams in the execution of lower risk transition projects Coordinates a cross functional IPT consisting of leaders from Quality, Engineering, Operations and Customer facing teams to enable development of robust schedules, resource plans, alignment of customer, quality, regulatory and product testing requirements, customer notification and supplier ramp up/ramp down plans. Maintains the Integrated Master Plan and Schedule following the established best practices in alignment with the Supply Chain procedures & training guidesProvides timely and data backed reporting to senior leadership, highlighting the progress of the project against the baseline timelines and business case projections Conducts critical path analysis, reports any schedule changes impact along with recovery plans to support accurate forecasting of project timelines and financial benefits. Coordinates with Finance to ensure project benefits are accurately vetted ahead of the execution phase and validates benefits are captured throughout execution As a voting member for the SCM function at Divisional Gate Reviews, validates that all projects meet minimum standards in accordance with Eaton Sourcing policies and best practices. Provides surveillance audits on site-led work transfer process.

  This role works as a sole independent contributor and has no direct reports.

  Qualifications:

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

  • 5 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations or Engineering within a manufacturing environment

  • 1 or more years of Program Management experience

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Supply Chain Management or Engineering.

  • Master's degree in Business (MBA), Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or Engineering.

  • 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Program Management, Manufacturing or Engineering in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment.

  • 3 + years of demonstrated experience in Supply Chain Commodity Management, Contracts or Financial Planning

  • Certified Purchasing manager (CPM) and or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred

  • Training in PMI (Project Management Institute) methodology; PMP (Project Management Professional) certification desirable.

  • Communication skills- both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports

  • Working knowledge of financial planning particularly in a program management context (recurring cost, Net Present Value (NPV), Return on Sales (ROS), etc)

  • Experience of high mix / low volume manufacturing

  • Strong IT and Communication skills - capability to develop and present executive level presentations to large audiences.

  • Travel up to approx. 30% although for short periods of critical activity may be more.
