Position Summary: - Reporting to the Director of Transit Operations, theTransit Operations Assistant will be responsible for assisting inmonitoring GATRA?s public transportation programs. PrimaryResponsibilities: - Assist in overseeing transit service activities,including all fixed-route and paratransit service activities to ensureGATRA service standards and contract requirements are met. - Serve as aliaison for operational issues between multiple service providers andDirector of Transit Operations. - Attend public presentations withOutreach Coordinator regarding service updates and solicit input andfeedback from public via public hearings, rider forums, andinformational sessions. - Monitor complaint process, includingcoordinating with other GATRA team members and vendors to ensureeffective complaint resolution for all transit services - Review andcompile data to assist with service planning and reporting OtherResponsibilities: - Perform other duties as required or requested toensure ongoing success of the organization Position Requirements: -Candidate should be willing and excited to learn about GATRA and GATRAservices, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work as partof a fast-paced team. - Candidate should have proficient computer skillsand be willing and able to learn new software as needed.
