Broadridge is growing! We are actively seeking anOperations Training Coordinatorto join our Job Skills Training department in South Windsor, CT. In this role, you will play a key role in promoting the success of Broadridge by providing the technical training associates need to succeed. You will become a subject matter expert on various facets of production operations which will help position you for career advancement opportunities. Provide hands-on, one-on-one, and/or group skills training, certification, and re-certification on a variety of topics, including new equipment introduction, equipment operations, and operational processes and procedures. Receive direction on scheduled training activities but independently coordinate and conduct training.
Responsibilities: Shift: Sunday - Tuesday, alternating Saturday's 6:00pm - 6:00amYou will demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes and equipment in all production areas and to work with subject matter authorities or vendors to learn and document training tasks.You will Load and unload trucks, perform distribution functions as necessary, and locate and retrieve product from open heights up to approximately 30 feet.You will interact with associates to help promote an atmosphere that supports and develops high collaboration and strong work ethics.You'll conduct training needs assessments, inventorying associate skills and determining appropriate training solutions.You will evaluate and report associates' training progress through observation, demonstrated learning, testing, documented certification processes, etc. and logging these activities to record the training status of associates.You will review current training tasks and procedures, and craft and document new ones for any equipment when needed.You'll attend internal and/or external training to improve training skills and subject matter knowledge (e.g., facilitation skills, adult learning knowledge, evaluation skills).You will generate training reports for management and/or departments (e.g., statistical reporting, certification reporting, procedure task reports, etc.).You'll be a post-training mentor to help foster a continuous learning environment and provide mentorship for employee training issues.Capable of performing the tasks with reasonable accommodation.Qualifications:Associate's degree or equivalentKnowledge of a warehouse environment.Demonstrate ability to interpret and work with training and/or technical documents.Preferred Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).Excellent oral and written communication skills.Flexibility for overtime as required which may include weekends and holidays.Ability to relate well, build consensus and show respect and consideration for others.The ability to transport material from one place to another and to carry up to 50 pounds is required.Ability to work flexible hours/scheduleMaintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dress code.Compensation & Benefits:Bonus Eligible Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience, plus shift differentialAnnual Bonus: You will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus of up to $1,250.00Benefits: Medical, dental, life, and vision insurance. 401k w/ match, parental leave, and more.
