Summary:
[The Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating and conducting training and technical assistance. The Coordinator will support a variety of grant-funded projects focused on building the capacity of counselor/advocates, community partners, and professionals to best respond to the needs of survivors of sexual violence across the coalition and the state of Connecticut. The Coordinator will lead the coalitions Sexual Assault Awareness Month initiatives annually in April and assist with planning and managing logistics of events, such as in person and virtual trainings/workshops and state-wide convenings.

Serve as a trainer for Alliance workshops, trainings, and conferences to service providers, other state agency professionals, and community partners regarding best practices and emerging trends in sexual violence prevention and intervention.Work with the Prevention and Training Manager to develop supplemental materials (such as toolkits or 2-page information sheets) for member center staff or the general public.Work with the Prevention and Training Manager to develop standardized training materials to build coalition-wide standardization, capacity and efficacy.Work with the Prevention and Training Manager to develop and implement ongoing training and technical assistance for Alliance staff, Alliance member programs, and communitypartners.Coordinate training calendars for Alliance member programs, community partners, and the public.
Maintain organizations YouTube channel with recorded trainings, keep Member Center Portal current with materials and resources, and contribute to maintaining internal and external Listservs.
Work with member centers to ensure data in EmpowerDB database regarding certification and recertification of counselor/advocates are current and accurate.Work with the member centers and the Director of Programs and Standards to ensure Counselor Advocate Certification Trainings at the member centers meet Alliance standards of practice.Assist with planning and managing logistics of in-person and virtual events such as Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), trainings/workshops, and state-wideconvenings.Sexual Assault Kit Initiative
