Location/Division Specific Information: Middletown VA/Clinical Diagnostics Division
The Training Specialist performs training and development activities, as well as supports training compliance within the site training team. This role supports the site training program to deliver meaningful and impactful learning experiences for operations, environment health and safety, quality, and manufacturing partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement training for manufacturing, environment health and safety, and quality partners and employeesSupport the coordination, evaluation, and monitoring of internal training programs across the siteWork closely with Quality and Operations departments to improve Quality Management System activities for system usersDeliver design standard for training assets: Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and other tools that support operational processesNavigate Quality Management System and Learning Management Systems for training complianceSupport training compliance and verification activities
Capabilities
Knowledge of learning and training technologies and modalitiesWilling to learn and develop continuously, research innovative solutions and quickly learn new tools and technologies to improve learning experiences for usersAbility to network and collaborate cross-functionally in a global settingAbility to handle changing priorities and multiple projects simultaneouslyClose attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills to deliver high quality work within project timelinesConsistent track record to develop and deliver learning products, services, and solutions in a collaborative and cross-functional global environment, with an understanding of the user perspectiveEffective in oral and written English
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification in Instructional Design. Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (2+ years)
