Position Summary:
The Total Rewards team at Trupanion is searching for an organized, detail-oriented analyst to span initiatives both in benefits and in compensation, aligned with the team vision of making Trupanion an exceptional place to work. Successful candidates should have experience managing multiple priorities, be comfortable working with teams across the business, and be familiar with analysis, project management, and finance. This role will comprise of project work, as well as monthly recurring business operations, and occasional ad hoc support as needed. A basic understanding of Workday is preferred.
This position is only open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule that requires you to work from our casual, pet-friendly office 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Complete regular benefit audits to ensure accuracy of deductions and imputed incomeReconcile benefit related data between vendor databases and workdayEnsure all benefit invoices are thoroughly reviewed and audited before paymentManage all benefit vendor reporting needs and deliverablesComplete analysis of benefits spend vs. utilization to inform future benefit decisionsProvide timely and accurate deliverables for compensation and benefits projectsEnsure compliance with Trupanion Compensation philosophy and policyCreate new bonus models, and updates to existing bonus modelsProactively implement process improvement initiativesMonitor & report on all bonus models at TrupanionSet up automation and controls to ensure bonus model assignments are accurate with as little manual updating as possibleAssist with running monthly compensation processes
Experience:
Preferred candidates will have demonstrated a proven ability to perform the following role functions or similar functions for at least 3-5 years.
Qualifications:
Advanced skills in Excel requiredAnalytical experience, preferably in finance or a related fieldExperience working with confidential dataStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyComfortable communicating with various business stakeholdersA willingness and motivation to tackle problems in creative ways
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 on a full-time scheduleAlong with the base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion's success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
