Classification Description
Performs the operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property. Responsible for facility and property safety. Conducts inventories. Operates manual equipment, special-purpose government vehicles, and materiel handling equipment. Required to perform assigned tasks within your work center that directly supports necessary functions of this job classification.
Specialty Qualifications
a. Knowledge. Knowledge of basic mathematics, supply procedures, Air Force property accounting, stock and inventory control, accountability and responsibility, and the principles of property accounting through ADP and storage methods is mandatory. Knowledge of the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous wastes and materials is mandatory. Knowledge of MIS (CAMS/IMDS) and desktop computer operations and use is mandatory. Must have working knowledge of Air Force supply procedures to look up, place orders, receive and maintain parts and materials to complete assigned work.
b. Education. Completion of high school with courses in mathematics and computers is desirable.
c. Experience. Qualification Tool & Parts Attendant is mandatory. Two years performing inventory operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, receipt of property, and supply functions is preferred or desirable.
Special Certifications and Qualifications required for position (as determined by Program Manager)
Knowledge of Supply system is mandatory. Duties include inventory and issuing tools and tool kits. Knowledge of F-15 and F-16 engines and components preferred. Knowledge of engine management process preferred. Must be able to travel in performance of these duties. Must have and retain a valid state drivers license. SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
