This role will be responsible for Amazon Freight Shipper Support Tooling Change Program Management working closely with product teams.
The Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), Amazon Freight team is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a talented, driven, curious, highly analytical and organized program manager, with an appetite for driving change at a large scale. The successful candidate will have strong program management, analytical and communication skills. This role will specifically support new product launches with roll out plans, process change management, tracking and reporting, and feedback gathering. The role is flexible to sit in Nashville or Atlanta. We are in a hybrid schedule with expectations to be in office at least 3 days per week.
The Tooling Change Program Manager will work cross functionally with multiple shipper support teams in North American and Globally, product and tech teams across Amazon Freight US and EU, and other providers when needed. This role will create processes to implement products into execution in close partnership with product teams, leaders, and front line agents. The result of building these new processes is to launch new features and changes to the full impact as efficiently as possible. They will own our operational planning for future operational planning cycles. They will be involved in product develop of business requirement documents, user acceptance testing, process and policy changes, training updates and all feedback to ensure success launch and iteration.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations
• Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions, security not considered, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.)
• Work with product and operations teams identify cost reduction and cost avoidance opportunities
• Identify risks, anticipate and manage resistance, develop specific plans to mitigate any challenges, clear blockers, and escalate appropriately.
• Development of the overall implementation and change program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver
• Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
• Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions
• Partner with customers, internal/external teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order
• Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)
• Able to travel to our sites across the US and customers when needed.

About the team
The Amazon Freight Operations and Shipper Support (AFOSS) team was established in early 2021 and is still in startup mode. The vision is to be the “one stop shop” for all Shipper Support needs. We operate 24/7 support operations and transportation movements with the support of teams in Nashville, Atlanta, Seattle, India, and Europe. We plan to have step change improvement in productivity by way of automation, self-serve, and operator tooling improvements.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
