PURPOSE
The objective is to mend a variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, templates, inspection fixtures, and analogous devices. Additionally, it involves the conversion and setup of various types of die, utility presses, and other production equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Execute tasks based on EAM work orders, documenting labor and inventory transactions in EAM. Utilize the production schedule to prepare and set up housing side and utility press dies. Perform die changeovers in the tool room, disassembling and modifying dies to accommodate diverse parts. Interface with shop floor computer terminals to record time and production activities. Diagnose operational issues with tools and dies, identify appropriate actions, and effectuate repairs. Disassemble worn or damaged dies, assess the extent of wear or damage, and undertake repair, replacement, adjustment, preparation, and die testing. Modify and repair various tools, templates, and dies, encompassing blanking, piercing, bending, forming, drawing, and other stamping dies, as well as welding, drilling, and assembly templates, jigs, and fixtures. Undertake intricate bench work involving filing, grinding, lapping, fitting, and polishing. Proficiently operate manual mill, lathe, and surface grinders. Employ calipers, micrometers, verniers, comparators, and other precision measuring instruments to uphold close tolerances. Interpret and comprehend blueprints, ensuring parts align with the specified drawings. Assist with die setting at presses. Operate forklift, walk-behind forklift, and overhead crane as required. Identify and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision. Adhere to all prescribed safety rules and regulations, maintaining a neat and orderly work area. TOOL & DIE REPAIR
Successful Candidates should have:
A high school diploma or GED certificate, preferably.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
Proficiency in continuous repetitive motions.

Pay Rate: $26.68/hour Hours: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Thursday. Must be willing to work overtime throughout the week and/or Fridays.
