About the Team
The Risk Management team is a global team responsible for ensuring that our E-commerce business can meet ambitious growth targets without exposing itself to unjustifiable risk, and can control risk efficiently and effectively. We apply a data-driven approach to tracking risk exposure, advising the business on its risk profile and implementing and optimizing the systems and processes used to control risk.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Lead a team of risk management specialists to manage the risk profile of an E-commerce commerce business in the Territory;
2. Develop and maintain (personally and across team) a deep understanding of the regulatory, legislative and political environment within the Territory as it relates to E-commerce. Key areas include (without limitation) consumer user protection, sustainability, data security, online payments and social responsibility;
3. Develop and maintain (personally and across team) a deep understanding of our E-commerce product and operations, so that your team can provide guidance on operating issues, front- and back- end product functions and support rapid risk assessment within the business;
4. Build a robust risk management framework including audit, crisis response, risk acceptance and documentation;
5. Build a trusted relationship with cross-functional risk review teams (including legal, governance, PR and government relations);
6.Handle the local aspects of major risk management and compliance projects in the Territory. Overall responsibility for following up on risk decisions for business programs and ensuring that business programs are issued under manageable risk conditions.
Qualifications
1. BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience;
2. Excellent project manager, stakeholder co-ordinator, planner and executor, capable of leading and mentoring team to do the same;
3. Familiar with retail or e-commerce business;
4. At least 10 years' working experience, preferably in commercial operations or risk control, for E-commence, other retail or related industry;
5. Background in E-commerce, retail, logistics, 3C, fashion, food & beverage or similar core industries is a plus.
