About the Team
Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality.
The IPR protection function within the Governance and Experience team is committed to protecting intellectual property rights and maintaining a healthy and safe e-commerce environment on TikTok's E-commerce Platforms.
Responsibilities
- Be the regional subject matter expert for IPR related risks with emphasis on IPR infringement identification and enforcing IPR policies.
- Operate and enhance Notice and Take Down processes, frameworks and policies to minimise IPR risks on the platform. Analyse, investigate and respond to reports of alleged IPR infringements, and take necessary actions against the infringement.
- Be directly responsible for the operation results of IPR related document verifications, risk screening, infringement investigations, and disputes to meet the established service levels.
- Review and identify improvement points in policies, processes and metrics. Initiate and drive in policy/process/metrics optimization projects.
- Gather raw data, conduct segmentation analysis, and other statistical techniques to create scalable solutions for IPR risk governance.
- Educate internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness of TikTok's e-commerce IPR protection measures and channels.
- Responsible for IPR operation quality control and maintaining operation quality index.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant fields.
- At least 2 years experience in one or more of the following areas: risk governance operations, e-commerce risk management, trust & safety, strategy consulting.
- Experience in E-commerce Intellectual Property Protection will be a plus.
- Prior exposure to Intellectual Property Law or other Intellectual Property related work or study experience will be a plus.
- Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking and analysis with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively liaise with people at all levels.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in collaborating with different business and technical stakeholders. Able to develop and execute project plans, independently monitor, and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
