Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. As the Compliance Risk Specialist, you will be part of a team consisting of policy managers, investigation ops, and program managers to drive cross-functional collaboration in the design and management of projects to ensure balance between growth and sustainability of the platform in each market.
What You'll Do
- Ensuring that TikTok Shop only offers products that meet safety and compliance standards.
- Swiftly addressing and resolving any risks associated with unsafe and non compliant products.
- Creating a positive and seamless experience for our Selling Partners to meet their compliance obligations.
- Enhancing external stakeholders' perception of our ability to offer safe products.
- Collaborate across various teams, gaining insights into our enforcement actions, and driving programs to improve accuracy of our decisions.
- Drive creation of intuitive workflows for sellers to enable compliance pre-enforcement and drive seller engagement to adopt these workflows.
- Lead escalation deep dives and updating leadership via established mechanisms.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with at least 5 years of work experience in well-known e-commerce platforms and vertical industry experience is preferred.
- Familiar with E-commerce compliance requirements and internet governance management, with a certain level of business sensitivity and risk awareness.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements, defining requirements, facilitating progress and identifying blockers.
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
- Excels in fast-paced, high-pressure situations and thrives on the energy of dynamic work settings.

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88920 - $152000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
