  The commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. We aim to bring discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by making TikTok the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and partners. We are looking for a passionate retail champion to help us build our business and deliver exponential growth!

  About the Role

  With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is the ideal platform to deliver a brand new and exciting shopping experience to our users. TikTok is already the place where trends first surface, and where brands, creators, and consumers are already connecting in meaningful ways. We are looking for experienced Category Managers to bring their passion for the Home & Living category, and their e-commerce experience to help brands find scale on TikTok Shop. This person is responsible for supporting enterprise and key account partners, and driving topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business.

  Our ideal candidate is an entrepreneur who possesses strong communication, ownership, a growth mindset with obsession to deliver results. This person will be a team player, with experience in managing enterprise accounts, open to learning new skills and developing expertise in content commerce, and demonstrate a proven track record of delivering results and problem-solving effectively in a fast moving environment. We are looking for those who are excited to be a part of something big - and welcome those with passion for Home & Living, for e-commerce, or for operating on the cutting edge of commerce and technology.

  Responsibilities

  - Identify, prioritize, and onboard [Beauty & Personal Care] merchants to establish and scale the [Beauty & Personal Care] category on TikTok Shop across enterprise and key accounts

  - Discover innovative collaborative models that fit into merchants' short-term and long-term development plans, invest platform resources effectively and efficiently, and execute business development strategy by deeply understanding the TikTok Shop proposition and ecosystem, as well as the needs and decision drivers for brands

  - Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and case studies to onboard brands to TikTok Shop, build brand partnerships, and develop the [Beauty & Personal Care] category

  - Employ a consultative approach - coach and enable your brands to grow their business with the right tools, process, and partnership model

  - Be an operator - leverage data and analysis to forecast the business and work cross-functionally to resolve challenges across merchandising, logistics, product, and platform

  Qualifications

  Required Qualifications

  - 3+ years' experience in e-commerce in Brand-driven categories such as [Beauty, Personal Care, CPG]

  - Experience forecasting and delivering against sales, GMV, or related commercial targets at category, account, or brand level

  - Experience with business development, pitching, and partnership management with brands

  - Experience advising and guiding brands to optimize and scale their e-commerce or digital business

  - Ability to thrive in a rapid, agile, and often ambiguous environment with a growth mindset

  - Attention to detail, affinity for analytics, and strong problem solving skills

  Preferred Qualifications

  - A combination of experience on both the platform or retail side, and the brand or merchant side

  - MBA

  - Experience with TikTok or other content-driven platforms or content-based commerce on either brand or platform side

  Job Information

  [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

  The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91200 - $143555 annually.

  Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

  We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match. As well as Dental, Vision, Short/Long term Disability, Basic Life, Voluntary Life and AD&D insurance plans. In addition to Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Options like Health Care, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care.

  Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.

  We also provide generous benefits like mental and emotional health benefits through our EAP and Lyra. A 401K company match, gym and cellphone service reimbursements. The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
