TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love.
The FMCG Key Accounts team manages businesses within Food & Beverages, Health & Wellness, Home Care & Cleaning, Pets and Flowers. The team is responsible for identifying, onboarding and growing new merchants as well as creating long term strategies to develop existing businesses on TikTok Shop. The team manages over 80 merchants and thousands of products which customers are able to buy on TikTok Shop. Merchants sell by posting their own content, or by working with creators to post content on their behalf. The FMCG team is set to grow throughout 2024 in order to continue to deliver sales for our merchants and ensure customers continue to have access to market leading brands in the UK.
Job Description
- Recruit 'Key Account' sellers using the new book of business; outreach using leads list, lead the pitching and onboarding process.
- Co-define, launch and execute go-to-market strategy for new sellers
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creator, logistics, legal, governance, campaigns, and marketing, to establish a seamless and efficient process for onboarding sellers
- Stay abreast of latest trends and ensure relevant brands are reflected in the new business pipeline
- Manage and update book of business, update weekly reports and key meetings to ensure new business progress is effectively communicated
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree ideally in a finance, business or marketing related topic or similar from a reputable University.
- Experience working as a Business Development or Acquisition Management support manager in an FMCG environment, including experience playing a key role in brand acquisition and onboarding
