Job Description
A fab in the Los Angeles area is looking for a Thin Film Manager to support the thin film process team. Scope of work involve sustaining and improving compound semiconductor thin film processes for current technology as well as working with development team on the new technologies to ensure e-beam evaporation, sputter, nitride PECVD, rapid thermal anneal, implant deposition tool and processes are optimized. Thin Film Manager is expected to support the team in implementing/improving process control by use of FDC and SPC methods. Manager is expected to direct engineers and technicians to drive improvement in tool capability, to reduce particles, PCM failures, number of held lots and to disposition of held lots in timely manner.
Skills and Requirements
10+ years experience with hands on thin film process in a clean room fab environment
Experience with tools such as e-beam evaporation, sputter, nitride PECVD, rapid thermal anneal, implant deposition tool
Strong evaporator skills - troubleshooting, fixing, reducing partials
Has spent majority of career in small-medium size fabs or start up fabs null
