Habana Labs is an innovative Business Unit focused on developing purpose-built AI processors, disruptive solutions that will shape the future of AI and Deep Learning computing. We are seeking a talented and motivated thermal-mechanical engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced company focused on liquid cooling design and development for server components in data center applications. As part of this team your key responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop liquid-cooled server systems for data centers.
Utilize 3D CAD using Creo and Windchill to create detailed models and engineering drawings for server components.
Perform CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis to simulate and optimize thermal performance.
Participate in the prototyping and testing of liquid-cooled components and server designs.
Conduct precise measurements and data collection on prototype systems to evaluate thermal and fluid dynamics performance.
Analyze test data and assist in the development of thermal solutions to optimize server cooling efficiency.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, reliability and sustainability goals.
Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, testing DOE, test results, and project progress.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data center cooling and mechanical engineering.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2 plus years of experience in the following:
Data center cooling technology or thermal management in liquid cooling.
3D CAD tools (with a preference for CREO with Windchill)
Low and high volume manufacturing processes and tolerances.
CFD analysis and software (e.g., FLOTHERM, ICEPAK, ANSYS).
Mechanical design principles.
Server liquid cooling systems and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with lab equipment and measurement tools such as Data acquisition system, Labview, NI instruments, Excel etc .
Knowledge of sustainability practices in data center design.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to data center cooling.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
