Accountable for the operational day to day management & creation of Power BI reporting suites for the UK&ROI Supply Chain.
Collaborating cross functionally to create new Power BI reports to help drive efficiency, decision making, risk identification, cost analysis & visibility across the various functions & responsibility levels. The candidate will also manage & maintain the existing Power BI suite of reports, helping tweak, improve & ensure all remain fully operational and accurate. This role will have an overall bias towards Online Supply Chain work area, helping to build out best in class reporting and supporting the DTC Supply Chain lead on building out Online Supply Chain reporting and adhoc initiatives.
• The ability to transfer technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Ingesting data from a variety of corporate data sources and performing required transformations in the Power BI query editor using a mixture of the UI and writing code.
• Utilizing effectively the navigation features in Power BI (e.g. bookmarks, drill-through) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story.
• Provide technical support and guidance through prototyping, testing, build, and launch of Power BI products.
• Data Modelling - Developing calculations in DAX which are accurate and performant on large datasets.
• Designing effective layouts using Data Visualisations best practices.
• Review KPI suite for the all of the UK&ROI Supply Chain function and where necessary identify trends and take swift corrective action to correct.
• Work with functional leads outline the specific data needs for each functional area supporting the development of KPI dashboards
• Actively participate in continuous process improvements for all aspects of UK&ROI Supply Chain that will drive efficiencies and improve service levels whilst optimizing costs
• Managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and fix any defects identified and documenting UAT scripts
• Build relationships with online carriers. Develop online carrier reporting through current tools and identify future tools to improve and expand reporting and functionality.
Qualifications
• Experience in the use & creation of reports within Power BI
• Good understanding and experience of the end to end supply chain process, supply chain measures and KPI's
• Proven experience in using MI/BI reporting tools.
• Commercially minded, proficient in reading, interpreting, and analysing numerical data and translating into business strategies.
• Extensive MS Office experience with expert level Excel skills
• Ability to quickly analyse and assimilate data and make recommendations based on this
• Ability to influence peers and management on your perspective or decision making
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the credibility to effectively build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders both internally and externally
• Ability to align and engage the team to achieve the Company's vision, strategy and goals.
• Strategic thinking, able to think at speed and quickly adapt to changing demands
• Self-starter with a meticulous and precise approach to their work
