Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) is looking for an Employee Relations Manager to lead our efforts in fostering a positive work environment, supporting our employees across the UK, Ireland, and Travel Retails business. Our workforce is at the heart of our commitment to providing high-touch service and promoting inclusivity and diversity.

  In this role, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders across the UK, Ireland, and Travel Retail businesses. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute projects and programs aimed at enhancing the employee experience at ELC. Your responsibilities will encompass both proactive and reactive efforts, all with the goal of ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace for our employees.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Lead and manage a team of Employee Relations Partners, providing guidance and support. Work reactively on esclataed employee issues under tight time constraints, making sound judgments. Collaborate with legal teams to manage Early Concilation and Employment Tribunal matters. Develop and implement a comprehensive Manager Fundamentals Program covering all key areas of employee relations. Identify trends and challenges, predict and mitigate risks proactively. Implement mechanisms to ensure compliance and eliminate vulnerabilities within the organization. Challenge existing practices and industry norms, fostering creative solutions across the matrix. Create high-quality written communications that concisely analyze problems and recommend effective solutions. Build constructive relationships with key stakeholders to drive positive change.

Your ability to address crisis situations, implement proactive measures, and foster positive employee relations will have a direct impact on our overall success.

  Qualifications

  What You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role:

  Previous hands-on experience in Employee Relations (ER), with knowledge of employee legislation in the Retail or a related industry. An advantage would be experience in multi-site ER scenarios. Exceptional proficiency in MS Office applications. Outstanding problem-solving abilities with a track record of resolving complex employee relations issues. The capability to work seamlessly both within teams and as an independent contributor. Comfort in managing ambiguity and complexity, with the ability to respond calmly to high-stress situations. Strong analytical skills, allowing you to evaluate information from various sources and prioritize actions and solutions effectively. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build trust and robust working relationships. Proficiency in coaching managers and providing remote advice and support
