The Role
As Test Lead (Manager, Implementation), you are responsible for managing Quality Assurance across multiple concurrent projects in a complex program, including coordination with League, client, and partner teams. Your role is to facilitate an efficient and successful QA lifecycle and deliver a solid product to our customer with minimal support and supervision.
Your main objective is to proactively and strategically manage the QA lifecycle for customer implementations – creating a test strategy, discovering and documenting test requirements, creating a test plan, facilitating the execution of the testing phase, and tracking progress with internal departments and customer teams against the test plan. It is vital to have strong customer facing communication skills and the ability to identify and escalate barriers to project success.
In this role, you will:
Act as a strategic and trustworthy partner between your client and League during the Quality Assurance process Accountable for the creation and management of the QA strategy and executable test plan to achieve the objectives for various test phases Serve as an expert in the area of quality assurance, enhancing and maintain testing methodology, standards, procedures and templates Coordinate with teams of quality analysts - both within League, on client teams, and partner teams - working on multiple concurrent initiatives Work in partnership with the Implementation Lead and Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of the product to our customers Work in partnership with the BA Lead to support the QA lifecycle and validate outputs to ensure business and system requirements are fully tested. Create comprehensive test cases and test plans based upon business requirements and solution traceability matrix. Coach and train business users to perform User Acceptance Testing tasks and activities Collaborate with a cross functional team, during QA lifecycle to inform various stakeholders of upcoming tasks, QA status and escalating issues when necessary Lead client discussions on Quality Assurance activities Proactively reach out to clients & decision makers to manage expectations and drive accountability Execute test suites and cases, informing the development team of defects and errors Log defects, Report / Raise critical issues to the attention of Engineering Lead / Product manager, monitor efforts to resolve and retest Produce materials to support internal steering level meetings and readouts, including defect reports, status reports, risks, issues, and decisions Ensure that the final product satisfies the agreed upon requirements and meet end-user expectations Maintain a deep understanding of League’s product and platform to inform QA methodology and documentation Create and maintain external materials to describe our quality approach to customers which can serve as a basis for customer quality plans Demonstrate the ability to motivate and guide internal and customer teams to deliver according to plan, including but not limited to: Engineering Business Analysts Operational quality control and readiness End user acceptance testing What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Minimum 5 years in a high-performance software testing and/or delivery capacity 2+ years of QA experience in a startup environment preferred Experience in a mobile and/or web application development environment Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Slack, G-Suite is highly desired Experience with tools such as RTM tool for Jira is highly desired Experience in Waterfall and Agile is highly desired Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC required Experience with test automation is a big plus

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position across all Canadian locations.
