Test Engineer (Intern - Summer 2024)
SRCTec, LLC (https://www.srcinc.com/about/companies/srctec.html?1705416698849) is currently seeking a Test Engineering Intern for Summer 2024 to assume a key role in the testing function in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment, including design, analysis, and testing of advanced radar systems.
What You’ll Do
Develop low level software to assist in test development
Gather and correlate data and perform analysis to assist in validation of test stations
Interact regularly with peers and manager
Ensure test design and documentation support all applicable product specifications and timelines
Ensure testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results
Ensure accuracy of measurements and traceability to international calibration standards
Record results from tests and demonstrations and ensure all test records are maintained in configuration management
Help identify and determine root cause of product failures and document process and results
What You’ll Bring
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering discipline (e. g. electrical, computer or software engineering), computer science, mathematics, computational mathematics, or physics
At least two years of college completed
Software experience (LabVIEW, Matlab, Python preferred)
Hardware knowledge (RF equipment, power, digital)
Be creative, resourceful and able to work both independently and on a team to support ongoing projects

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $22.00 to $26.00/hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
