The Continence Care Territory Manager is responsible for achieving territorysales objectives through selling activities which include cultivating businesspartnerships with key decision makers, product in-services, driving marketshare and sales growth.The Territory Manager will targetkeycustomers byselling and servicing Coloplast's portfolio ofContinence Care products.Major Areas of Accountability:Business AcumenEffectively engage all targeted accounts as well as develop and execute aclear and logical plan to achieve overall territory sales objectivesDevelop and implement strategies to maximize territory and companyobjectives, including analyzing key sales and marketing data to determinethe most leverageable opportunities in the territoryFor all targeted accounts, understands customer's environment, includingwho the clinical, financial and other key decision makers are, their keyissues/concerns, including challenges and opportunities for ColoplastEnsures timely advancement of the sale process with all targeted accountsachieving/exceeding the annual minimum required contract commitmentsUnderstands Financial Business Models and conducts cost/benefit analysis
Selling Skills:Demonstrates consultative selling skills to uncover customer strategy andpresents value proposition including financial and clinical impactPlans daily call routine to ensure appropriate coverage of key accounts givensales time allocation, sales potential, geographical location,development of sales process, etc.Utilize all available tools to maximize sales growth including, but notlimited to GPO and IDN contracts, marketing directives, sales reports andeducational materialsKnowledgeable of competitive activity and sales volume in each targetedaccount
Relationship Building:Retain and grow business within current customer base by identifyingopportunities and help formulate sales strategiesDevelop and maintain long-term relationships that lead to increasing use ofproducts within target accountsDevelop and maintain productive cross-functional relationships to shareknowledge and leverage synergies within the organization
Clinical Knowledge and Self Development:Clear understanding of clinical and technical product knowledgeStrong understanding of competitive activity and products as well as knowingcurrent market trends and industry informationAs required, attends industry related meetings/events for businessdevelopment opportunities i.e. UOA meetings, trade shows, WOCN meetings
Administrative:Organize and manage information utilizing CRM tool as directedMaintains current records and administrative duties, including salesreporting and expense managementEssential Qualifications:Bachelors degree requiredMinimum 3 years of successful sales experience in the medical field stronglypreferredWillingness and ability to travel, including overnight -- 25% - 50%Must possess a valid driver's license as driving will be required for thispositionEmployees in this role are expected to meet healthcare customers in person attheir facilities or healthcare systems; therefore, this will requirecompletion of credentialing requirements that meet the access requirements ofeach healthcare facility or systemEmployees must possess a valid driver's license, as driving will berequired for this positionRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong Interpersonal and relationship building skillsHigh attention for detail and follow throughExceptional listening skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel andPowerPointDemonstrate effective time and territory management skills, administrativecapabilities and effective written and oral communication capabilitiesPersonifies Coloplast Mission and Values
