Responsibilities: Answer customers\' questions aboutproducts, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.Recommend products to customers, based on customers\' needs andinterests. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrateproducts, explain product features, and solicit orders. Estimate orquote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.Consult with clients after sales or contract signings in order toresolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Prepare estimates andbids that meet specific customer needs. Identify prospective customersby using business directories, following leads from existing clients,participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows andconferences. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, andcompetitors\' products, prices, and sales. Perform administrativeduties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping salesrecords, and filing expense account reports.
