Infosys is seeking an Teradata & Datastage Developer. As part of the Infosys delivery team, your primary responsibilities will be designing and implementing highly distributed, scalable and performant ETL processes - staging, data role would be to interface with the client for quality assurance, issue resolution and ensuring high customer satisfaction. In this role, you will need to understand requirements, create and review designs, validate the architecture and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain. You will also participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews. In addition, you will lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high quality code deliverables, continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.

Key Responsibilities: Knowledge of more than one technology - Teradata as RDBMS & ETL Tool - IBM Datastage
Basics of Teradata Architecture and Design fundamentals with developing queries on Teradata
Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance project.
Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills
Awareness of latest technologies and trends
Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Minimum 3 years of ETL-Teradata experience.
Expertise in creating end-to-end data pipelines, including data ingestion, extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and best practices used in large-scale data warehouses.
Minimum of 2 years of ETL-IBM DataStage is required. US citizens and those authorized to work in the USA are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications: Basics of Healthcare domain to understand the business requirements
Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
Experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support of Data Warehousing and Data Integration Solutions and ETL data pipelines
Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles and modelling methods
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
