What you will be doing
Provide consumer support in a call center environment for patients receiving treatment within a designated specialty.Risk assess patient for compliance and adherence to treatment regimenIdentify barriers to careProvide information about disease processProvide emotional support to patient and family membersAccepts inbound calls and makes outbound calls to enrolled patientsReceives notification through, but not limited to: web portal, live chat, patient assistance program, fax enrollment form,electronic enrollment form or phone; calls patient to provide information about the product, program, send out information kits if needed and management advise for any side effectsEnter all consumer activities accurately in clinical data baseIntakes and reports adverse events as directedMust be able to work a flexible schedule and have flexibility for changing program needsPerforms related duties as assigned
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a current license issued by a state or states or jurisdiction(s) within the United States and be unrestricted in any state.Graduation from an accredited nursing programExperience with and/or potential to provide high quality customer serviceyears of experience within a designated specialty such as oncology, neurology, medical information/pharmacovigilance, behavioral healthTelephonic experience a plusCertification may be requiredGraduation from an accredited nursing programCase management experience a plus
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to use a computer for data collection proficientlyStrong organizational skills; attention to detailGood critical thinking skillsStrong computer skills
