BlackRock's Reporting team is accountable for ensuring that BlackRock meets our clients' need for data, including the provision of market leading reporting solutions and effective client service. As a part of the Reporting team, you will formulate the successful delivery of ESG reporting and partner with colleagues to craft and advance a globally aligned vision and business model.
You will also handle following:
Create or check the reports mainly using Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and various internal system tools, and distribute them to the distributors/clientsManage the schedule of own tasksWork with onshore and offshore colleagues and stakeholders such as Client Business teams and Investment teams in the firm as well as external service vendors (i.e.., printing vendors, translators, reporting outsourcing company) to produce/distribute the reports (mainly in Japanese, partially in English) Translate business requirements to a functional specification, and build & test for reporting solutionsAnalyse trends in data requests to constantly improve service and client reportsUse BlackRock's technology to provide efficient and scalable solutions, as well as regular application of technology to customized solutionsUnderstand the risk environment within the department - promoting risk awareness, assessment and controlManage the Projects leveraging the expertise of report production, leveraging the global network and technology.Stakeholder management, including the expectation control and negotiation.
To Ensure Success, you will have the following qualifications:
Extraordinary client service skills, maturity, and autonomy in dealing with partner teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHands-on experience in programming such as Python, VBA, SQL etc and good at catching up with technology trend. (e.g., leveraging AI for Data analysis or generative usage)Strong work ethic and willingness to give beyond the scope of one's role to achieve team and firm objectives.Excellent attention to detail, and ability to operate with over 99% accuracy and timeliness (Global target)..Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, summarize issues and think creativelySharp control/risk mitigation mentality with ability to know when to raise issueBoth Japanese and English is required with Business-Level (Required to understand what is written in the report including investment commentary. Day to day communication with stakeholders is also needed in both languages.)Project Manager (Leader position) experience is a plusPeople Manager experience is a plus Proven client report production experience in the asset management or trust bank company is a plusYou have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study; CFA certification is a plus
