Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with overall 6-10years of experience.
2.Proven minimum 5+ experience as a Business Intelligence Developer with a focus primarily on IBM Cognos v11 and proficient in Tableau and PowerBI.
3.Advanced proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics, Framework Manager, Report Studio, Dashboard, Explorer, AI services, SDK, Java Script and Mash up services.
4.Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as DB2, SQL server, Oracle and Snowflake.
5.Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
6.Ability to analyze complex business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
7.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8.Relevant certifications in IBM Cognos would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
1.Develop and maintain complex IBM Cognos v11 reports, dashboards and Events to meet business requirements.
2.Design and implement data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
3.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights using IBM Cognos v11.
4.Utilize advanced features of IBM Cognos v11, such as dynamic cubes and data modules, to enhance reporting capabilities.
5.Implement best practices for IBM Cognos v11 performance tuning, and optimization.
6.Mentor and provide guidance to junior BI analysts on IBM Cognos v11 best practices and techniques.
7.Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in IBM Cognos v11 to continuously enhance the organization's BI capabilities.
