Learning and using solution-selling techniques, including Technical Presentation, Live Demo, Proof of Experience, Solution Design, to identify and engage decision makers and influencers, qualify business opportunities, and respond to clients' needs.
Managing a dedicated client set and defining, confirming, and communicating the differentiated value of IBM's technology at both the technical and business level.
Leading the entire sales process and ensuring delivery against KPIs, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, whilst expanding existing accounts.
Collaborating with the broader IBM sales ecosystem, from Marketing to Sales and technical colleagues, to IBM Business Partners, to build sales campaigns and incremental pipeline
As a Brand Technical Specialist, you will work with a sales team as a consultative sales advising prospective clients on the benefits of IBM's solutions. In this role, you'll grow skills to become a subject matter expert and collaborate with colleagues across the wider Sales team to advise and support client engagements throughout the sales process. Curiosity and a constant quest for knowledge serve as the foundation to success in IBM Technology.
Responsibilities of this role include:
Successfully complete the training and learning path to develop skills on IBM Software and Z Platform
Share their knowledge within IBM and become internal ambassadors for solutions adoption
Build an extensive technical knowledge to sell IBM solutions to clients in order to remove all technical inhibitors to sales opportunities
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You studied a technical degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines.
Excellent communication, relationship and presentation skills that are equally engaging, compelling, and influential
Initiative to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills, growth mindset and continuous learning
Problem Solving attitude and analytical skills
Capability to work in a global, multicultural and diverse environment
Ability to work both in a team and independently
Good knowledge of English language
Italian mother language
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Basic knowledge of Computer System Architecture
Technical background in software development languages and frameworks (eg. Java, Java Script, Spark, Mean, Node js, Python)
Basic knowledge of databases, SQL
Hands-on exposure to real-world application of computer science, information systems, or engineering concepts.
