  Job Description:

  This position is responsible to provide technical research and archiving services for the Property Office in Augusta.

  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  Assisting customers with information requests, which includes right of way maps, as-built plans, county layout descriptions, and any other information that may be available to help determine the existing right of way,

  Archiving responsibility will include assigning file numbers to our right of way maps, entering information into a GIS system and archiving right of way maps and documents for future retrieval,

  Other duties will include printing of right of way maps for the condemnation mailings, CAD drafting clean-up of our right of way maps and recording at the Registry of Deeds.

  To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:

  Five (5) years of experience in engineering –OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineering.

  Retirement Plan – The State of Maine contributes 13.41% for MSEA positions and18.21% for Confidentialpositions, of employee’s pay to the Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS), on behalf of the employee.

  Gym Membership Reimbursement – Improve overall health with regular exercise and receive up to $40 per month to offset this expense.

  Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts – Set aside money pre-tax to help pay for out-of-pocket health care expenses and/or daycare expenses.
