  Overview

  The Orthopedic Technician is responsible for a variety of clinical, environmental, and clerical tasks as directed by the orthopedic section professional staff (Clinic Nurse Manager, Service Line Director, Orthopedic Physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses, Physician Assistants). The technician assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficiency of operations.

  Responsibilities

  Provides supportive patient care.

  Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficiency of operations.

  Shares responsibility for teaching and orientation of new personnel within own skill level.

  Qualifications

  HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience Care assistant or experience in another type of patient care assistive role.Starting Pay

  Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $18.07/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

  Remote Work/Work from Home

  This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
