Using your exceptional writing skills, you educate others on the appropriate use of our engineering technology. You develop instructional and informational tools for our products, services and systems that can be easily understood by all levels of technical experience. You provide detailed information about maintenance, repairs and upgrades, including creating technical diagrams. You collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment.
How you can make a difference:
Work closely with SMEs of all levels to document technical guidelines for multiple levels in the organization.Write operational procedures, engineering design documents, methods of procedures, implementation guides and engineering drawings. Ensure accurate and current procedure information through regular reviews.Maintain accurate and readily available instructions through configuration management, version control and quality assurance.Design and create ad hoc materials and conduct classes to train others on documentation techniques and practices.Research and utilize current industry methods and techniques.
What you bring to Spectrum Enterprise
Required qualifications:
Experience: Three years of technical writing work.Education: Bachelor's degree in communication, english, instructional design, a related field or equivalent experience. Technical skills: Expert in articulating, translating and documenting methods and procedures; Experience designing and creating multi-format documentation; Proficient with Microsoft Office.Skills: English communication Abilities: Ability to utilize and quickly learn technology tools related to documentation, changing telecommunication and MSO technology.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with MSFT Sharepoint and Confluence
