  Job Description

  Under the direction of the Manager of Policy and Procedure, the TechnicalWriter will collaborate with various business units to create,standardize, and develop processes and workflows, then transfer theinformation into Procedures, Standards, or Policies as needed. The rightcandidate will excel in communication across business units, write clear,concise documentation that can be understood by any business unit, and havea strong understanding of process, communications, flowcharts,training, and fa

  Essential FunctionsAnalyze and Review Technical Documentation: Analyze documentation content,flow, and format; make improvements, as necessary. Identify appropriatebaseline to tailor project documentation. Suggest best practices andoptimizations throughout content generation. Identify risks and gaps throughReview Findings and make recommendations for improvement. Review, revise,and maintain technical documents, including software and systemsengineering, system operations, testing, API developer documentation,and user documentation. Study drawings/topologies, specifications,mockups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology,operating procedure, and production sequence and detail. Proficient in VisioanCollaborate with Business Units to Create Processes, Workflows, andStandardized Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams andvarious business units to create and maintain project and productdocumentation, and business workflows. Work within the Policy and ProcedureProgram to produce deliverables and documentation across all phases of smalldocumentation projects. Use standardized templates for business and functionalrequirement documents, technical documentation, process flows, anddesign specifications. Edits documentation for content, clarity,grammar, and flow. Ensure technical writing projects are completed on timeand meet quality standards as scoped within projects. Assist in planning,scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet project schedule datesand stakeholder deliverables.Training Material Development: Develop training material to include manualsor guidelines, processes, and power points. Facilitate exercises toeducate others in designed training(s). Update outdated traininginformation and communicate the changes. Ability to manage online meetings andutilize various communication platforms to execute training(s).Research & Development: Research and remain up-to-date on technicalwriting best practices. Continuously improve documentation by responding toand incorporating feedback from business units and internal users.Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies andprocedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Formal Qualifications for this PositionBachelor's Degree Degree in Business, English, Law, or OrganizationalCommunications with an emphasis in Technical Writing.3+ years' experience with Technical writing/Workflows to include:1+ years' experience with managing small projects.1+ years' experience with collaborative communications.Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of abachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience couldbe substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accountingwork experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of workexperien

  Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation, grammar, andbasic technical writing skills.Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, while working effectively underpressure to meet deadlines.Ability to collaborate across business units and organize projects technicalwriting projects.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Written and oral communication skillsAbility to establish good rapport with various business units.Ability to adjust communication style.Ability to quickly obtain a working understanding of business unitprocedures, and communicate those procedures in writing in a concise,easily understandable way.Demonstrates a strong orientation towards customer service.Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint and Outlook.Certifications Required:NoneEnvironmental, Physical and Psychological RequirementsStanding - OccasionallyWalking - OccasionallySitting - FrequentlyLifting - Rarely (40 Lbs)Carrying - RarelyPushing - RarelyPulling - Rarely
