  Position Overview

  The Technical Solution Executive (Tech SE) reports to the Senior Technical Solutions Manager and partners with the Named Account Sales Executive (NASE) to lead revenue objectives by overseeing the technical relationship and strategy for the account. You will be in a hybrid role that defines and guides the technical account strategy by combining the appropriate sales methodology (i.e. TAS, SSN, STRATEGY), deep industry and technical background, to align with the NASE's sales initiatives while advocating for our customers and partnering with sales, customer success, consulting, and marketing to ensure a clear understanding of the customer's environment, challenges and requirements. You will foster long-term partnerships with customers by aligning the customer's business initiatives and technical goals with Autodesk's vision, mission, and strategy.

  We are in need of a TechSE who has experience in the manufacturing and plant industry in particular.

  Responsibilities

  Technical Account Plan Development and Management: You will with Named Account Sales Executives develops technical account plan and implement strategy for closing business. Use Autodesk company standard sales methodologies to ensure technical closure and understanding of sales strategies

  Customer Relationship Management: You will develop required level of knowledge of our customers' business process, workflows, and technical requirements to build "trusted advisor" relationships with customers. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the business processes, technology trends, and workflows, within their domain of expertise, to provide insight and guidance required to position the value of current and new Autodesk solutions

  Technical Discovery & Solution Fit: Manages technical discovery. You will provide guidance in the formulation of requirements definitions, scope documents, user needs studies, process assessments and project assessments for sales opportunities. Use Autodesk software and services together with other resources to develop solutions that satisfy technical, fiscal and schedule constraints within the customers business

  Customer Closure: Responsible for aligning with main customer partners to secure business and technical closure of the proposed solution. Manage technical evaluations, define solution architecture, facilitate product demonstrations, "pilot" projects. Provide technical validation and assess feasibility, correctness and completeness of proposed solutions; apply best practices in solving business problems. Assess and direct customers regarding strategic product issues involving license deployment, licensing structures and license management to maximize customer satisfaction and product revenue

  Collaboration: Develops trusted working relationships with the sales team and adjacent partners. Partner with teams (sales management, Customer Success, consulting, development, and technical sales) to acquire the correct talent/resource for individual sales opportunities. Oversee and guide these resources to outlined account objective to, ensure customer satisfaction and business closure

  Internal Leadership: Shares best practices, competitive information, innovation, and expertise within the sales organization, product divisions, and technical sales organization. Interacts and communicates with the various teams of Autodesk to ensure that needs are met. Provide answers and knowledge share technical product and integration information about Autodesk or competitor products

  Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, plant or related industry

  At least 10 years of practical experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Plant industry. Engineering/Design experience.

  Understand goals in Engineering firms and maintain knowledge of future trends

  Project Design lifecycle - Understands the process of RFP, conceptual design, computational design methodologies, design development, Q&A, contract documents, construction administration, hand over, and O&M

  Project estimation - Understands the estimation workflow using both 3D and 2D documentation together with estimating systems

  Experience in Strategic planning of long term specific goals with specific needs

  Experience deploying new and inspiring technology into a workforce to inspire creativity, and efficiency.

  Understanding of IT, and digital practice needs and pains

  Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects - including comfort in front of large audiences

  Sales methodology or technical sales experience

  Experience conducting business activities in English
