Technical Quality Assurance - Sr Professional I
Position Purpose :
Fiserv is looking to fill critical testing roles that allow us to ensure the quality of the products, technical solutions and services developed for both internal and external use to provide core payment processing services to our customers. Candidates would be contributing at both an individual level as well as a team level to achieve the organization's objectives and goals around Software Quality Assurance. Exposure to projects for the leading payment-processing provider in Financial Technology space as well as experience working with existing and emerging technologies will provide candidates with career growth and core competency development. Business Description:
The Quality Engineering group partners with application teams to provide end to end testing services that includes automation testing, performance testing, security testing, test data management, tools support and reporting of test metrics. We leverage leading technologies and processes to achieve comprehensive test coverage and release level reporting.
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) vertical of Fiserv delivers merchant processing services for small/medium-size businesses as well as large global merchants. The processing services range from core authorization, clearing and settlement to next-generation merchant solutions for traditional point-of-sale transaction processing as well as both e-commerce and digital-wallets solutions. Fiserv offers many industry-specific approaches for our clients. Our tenured understanding of specific industry processes and controls, regulatory matters, new technologies, changing viewpoints, evolving economic factors, sales, and marketing functions provide strong benefit to our clients.
What you will do :
Functional: Develops and executes formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Leads and participates in test planning and quality review sessions. Oversees the writing of test cases/scripts. Testing may include application, network, system, regression and user acceptance testing. Participates in daily calls as needed for appropriate discussion of testing status, defect discussion and general management of testing phase. Creates end-of-test closure reports.
Assist in development of the end-to-end automation framework and automate tests using new/existing frameworks.
Assist with the execution of testing for all system components, including functional and integration testing. Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases, document test cases and generate reports; generate software quality related metrics.
Works with multiple programs/systems to serve as a project team member.
Provides technical leadership and mentoring to less experienced individuals. Oversees training of team members.
Works independently with senior management and technical groups globally. Utilize business, functional and/or technical expertise to effectively develop the test strategy and test plans. Leverages this knowledge to then execute the test plan, monitor results, report on progress and assist with defect triaging and management.

What you need to have:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.Alternative Industry/Domain
Payment Processing for Financial Institutions. Specifically for debit cards, loans and/or credit card systems (new accounts, plastics, letters, notifications, preferences, parameter controls, payments, sales, account updates, memos, rewards, fraud, statements, collections, authorizations, chargebacks/retrievals, merchants, settlement, etc.)
Financial services with high-volume, large-scale processing and reporting
Skills
Strong skills in API Testing using Rest Assured, Postman
Strong skills in E2E Automation using Selenium
Strong skills in developing automation frameworks using Java
Experience in testing web, desktop and database-based applications
Experience in executing scripts on both ‘On-Premise’ and Cloud based test environments
Extensive knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes
Knowledge of testing tools, database concepts and MS Office.
Informed and cognizant of the key processes in the business and the business rules that affect the development and/or implementation of information systems.
Drives continuous improvement through all processes, including but not limited to, team standards, test planning, resourcing and test execution, as well as debugging, metric collection, and reporting.
Experience and ability to understand different forms of user and system requirements and translate them into test scripts.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and yet still be team-oriented.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.
Ability to collaborate and build solid relationships with multiple teams within the organization.
Effective time management in organizing and prioritizing work.
High level of self-motivation, and a passion for testing.
Fast learner and eager to learn.
4+years of related Technical experience.
Experience in distributed testing/automation/performance activities.
Experience using collaboration software (e.g. MS Teams)

Merchant Payment Processing – authorizations at either point-of-sale or Card-Not-Present (eCommerce/digital), clearing & settlement systems, merchant on-boarding, merchant reporting, fraud/security analytics.#LI-IH1
